First Mars Landing in Six Years

Following years of unsuccessful missions, NASA’s InSight probe has touched down on Mars. Watched on by many excited viewers from Times Square, the probe ended its 482 million kilometre journey to the red planet, when it landed yesterday morning. The first images have been sent to NASA from Mars, but the InSight probe still has a lot of work to do. To unpack the expedition, we were joined by Michael Dello-Lacovo from the Australian Center for Space Engineering Research.
