Fluffball chicks needs your help

Beach bird chicks relying on our beaches for nesting are in need of support.

The fluff ball chick’s chance of survival on a beach shared with much larger species, like ourselves, is reaching its end.

With only 3 out of 100 chicks making it to flying age, Birdlife Australia is now calling on the public for help to save threatened bird species that nest on the beach from extinction.

The Daily was joined by Dr Daniel Lees, Coastal Birds Projects Officer at BirdLife Australia.
