UNSW Galleries welcomes back visitors to see the exhibition Friendship as a way of life. The major show celebrates all things LGBTQI+.
There’s not just amazing artworks on the wall, there’s an online series called Forms of Being Together, and an immersive experience called The Eulogy For The Dyke Bar. A full scale installation that makes you feel like you have just walked into an epic lesbian bar.
Jose Da Silva brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the art world to UNSW and is one of the curators of the show. Da Silva joined 2Ser this morning to give some behind the scenes insights.
