From Humble Beginnings To Giving Away Millions
Sir William Dobell was a leading Australian artist in the mid 1900’s. He came from humble beginnings in Newcastle to rise to the top of his field and passed away in 1970. This year, The Sir William Dobell Art Foundation is celebrating 50 years of philanthropy and cultural advocacy for the arts. Michelle Belgiorno-Nettis, Chairperson of the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation joined the Thursday Daily.
