From Victor Harbor to Glenelg: Robbie’s run for childhood dementia
Treatment options for childhood dementia are extremely limited and research to create treatments are generally not well funded. But one South Australian has taken action into his own hands raising $130 000 towards research.
Adelaide-based business owner Robby Lippett has achieved an incredible feat running a whopping 80 kilometres from Victor Harbor to Glenelg Jetty all in the name of childhood dementia research.
Robby initially set out to raise $80 000 but exceeded his goal by a huge $50 000, raising the funds for the Flinders Childhood Research Department.
