Funnel Webs: Unlikely Heart Attack Heroes
Australia’s teeming with deadly animals but some might just be undercover lifesavers. Funnel web spiders on K’gari, or Fraser Island, are capable of killing you within hours. However, new research has shown they could also save you and the 57,000 other Australians each year who suffer a heart attack, in just minutes.
