Game, set, match!
Roger Federer has been a pro tennis player since 1998 and as of 2022 he has officially retired from competitive tennis. Through the injuries and an attitude on the court, he soon became one of the most liked players along with becoming one of the greatest players of all time. I don’t think really anyone wanted Federer to retire, we expected him to be on the courts forever. With Roger retiring it really asks the question what’s next with the big players as the next generation takes over the sport. To discuss all things Federer, we spoke to Emeritus Professor David Rowe – Cultural Research, Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University.
