Gas appliance ban sparks renewable future
The Victorian government’s move towards a greener future is positive, with the new announced ban on gas appliance in new homes from the start of next year.
The ban comes after the rising cost of gas bills and the governments need to reduce emissions and meet target.
While the immediate impact on the electricity grid is small, the long-term change will put more pressure on it.
To achieve sustainability, investment in technology and skilled workers to handle the challenges of transitioning to renewable energy.
By training the workforce and upgrading infrastructure, we can reshape our energy consumption patterns and work towards a fully renewable grid.
