Geminid meteor shower peaking
Next week, on Thursday December 14, it will be possible to see the Geminid meteor shower at its peak. The Geminid meteor shower occurs around this time each year, and is known to be the best to view. This is therefore a great time for camping and getting out of the city for the chance to see some ‘shooting stars’.
James Murray is joined with Professor Jonti Horner, astrophysicist and astrobiologist at the University of Southern Queensland, to learn more about the phenomenon and how best to view the meteor shower this year.
