Asheeka and Rosa are two funny, sharp, adventurous young women who refuse to be held back any longer. When they end up on a Thelma and Louise-esque road trip in Western Sydney, a series of escalating events land Rosa in juvie living her life through books and wondering about her best mate, who has disappeared.
Directed by Priscilla Jackman, Girls in Boys’ Cars is an adaptation of Felicity Castagna’s award winning novel and is playing at the Lennox Theatre in Parramatta from the 19th October till the 3rd November. One of the stars in Girls in Boys’ Cars joins us, the lovely Nikita Waldron chats with Danny Chifley on the breakfast show.
