Glebe Record Fair – 9th April

Ever since CDs became the norm, vinyl records have declined in popularity, remaining active only through specialist audiophiles and collectors. In the last 10 years, however, there has been a resurgence of the medium, with many new releases being pressed to vinyl, and many stores stocking records and associated technologies.

Held twice a year, in April and October, the Glebe Record Fair is a celebration of records and those who love them, featuring over 100 stalls specialising in everything from rock, punk, jazz, pop, dance and many more. We were joined by Ric Trevaskes, co-owner of Egg Records and one of the organisers of the fair, to tell us about the fair’s history and what exactly it’s all about
