Gonski 2.0: What it means for Australian education
The Gonski 2.0 education reforms have been officially backed by the Turnbull government but not everyone’s pleased with this development. The government plans to inject an additional $18.6 billion dollars into the nation’s schools over 10 years. This is in addition to what was promised in last year’s budget. The new system is nationalized and bases distribution around the “needs” of schools.
