A Government under pressure
Last week question time was largely taken up with the Minister for Immigration Andrew Giles answering awkward questions about the vexxed question of deportation of convicted criminals. In a bizarre twist, he initially said that the Government was monitoring dangerous released detainees with drones which he subsequently recanted.
Bill Shorten was dealing today with the revelations that his speechwriter was on a $300k salary, which came on top of the continuing evidence that NDIS money was going out on cars, drugs and holidays.
