The Grammy Awards 2017: Performance or protest?

So this week we had the 59th Annual Grammy Awards commemorating the year’s talent in music. However beyond the celebrations we saw celebrities banding together to create one of the most political award shows in history. Following this we’re wondering what does it mean for celebrities to be making a stand in this way, and how do these public protests affect our own political opinions?

The Daily spoke to Dr Sarah Attfield, scholarly teaching fellow at the University of Technology Sydney.
