North East New South Wales forest protectors have stopped logging operations in Styx River State Forest, north east of Armidale, to protect endangered greater gliders and their habitat.

The greater gliders have been filmed entering their dens with a total of at least NINE gliders recorded, thanks to citizen scientists.
