Greg Poppleton jazzes it up
Of all the music styles in the world.. None are more mystical or misunderstood than jazz. Jazz has been around for a long, long time and a lot of its roots can be found today in contemporary music.
Jazz will be celebrated the world over today but something very special will be happening here in Sydney at the Avoca Beach Picture Theatre. Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters will be giving you a taste of the 1920’s/30’s jazz with a screening of the 1957 film Pal Joey.
Greg, aka the Phantom Dancer, an award winning program here on 2SER – catch it at midday on Tuesdays joins me in the studio
