Greyhound Racing Industry shows no signs of slowing down

A few weeks ago Ladbrokes held its annual Golden Easter Egg race, at the Wentworth Park Greyhound racetrack, earning a whopping $4.21 million dollars in turnover, making it the third-highest NSW greyhound wagering night ever. Despite the harm this sport brings to dogs being proven, the industry shows no signs of slowing down.

President of the Coalition for the Protection of Greyhounds, Dennis Anderson spoke to Daily Presenter Jarred Cross about why this brutal industry appears to be thriving.
