Group La Faya brings Music, Dance, and Rhythms from the Islands
Kicking off on the French National Day, July 14, the annual, free-entry Bastille Festival is returning to Circular Quay for four days of French food, wine, art, and culture to celebrate its 10-year anniversary! To join the celebrations, the Sydney-based Mauritian Sega ensemble, Group La Faya, will carry the colourful culture of Mauritius to Sydney through two vibrant performances at the Bastille Festival. Lead choreographer and manager of the group, Jean-Daniel, chatted with Monday Drive in the 2SER studio to explain more.
