Guidelines for how teens should talk about suicide online – a world-first

Yesterday, Orygen, the national centre for excellence in youth mental health released a set of of world-first guidelines to assist young people in talking safely about suicide online. With mental health education becoming increasingly important for young people, these guidelines will provide practical assistance for parents, educators and young people and allow them to better communicate about mental health.

Dr Jo Robinson, Head of Suicide Prevention Research at Orygen spoke to The Daily about the new guidelines.
