More Guilty Pleas Could Clear Court Log-Jam
According to the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research a new case management approach trialed in the NSW District Criminal Court has seen a significant downfall in delay and a big increase in early guilty pleas. How does this new system, coined the “rolling system” work? And do we need more judges and more funding to see an even bigger improvement in the NSW District Criminal Court.
