The State of Sydney Harbour

We all know the sparkling jewel that is Sydney Harbour.  It attracts and dazzles tourists, it’s about as pretty as a transport corridor can be, but how is our harbour faring beneath the surface?

On Weekend Breakfast we spoke with Katherine Dafforn, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science, Marine Ecology at Macquarie University, who is also the Deputy Director of the Sydney Harbour Research Program at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science.  Katherine is an expert in harbour health and involved in a program that uses 3D moulded concrete to recreate natural forms on our harbour’s vertical seawalls.  Listen in to find out about fish diversity and how to play your part in keeping our harbour healthy.
