A member of legendary acts such as Sekiden and Regurgitator, as well as an accomplished solo artist in her own right, Seja is an artist to be reckoned with.

Seja’s much anticipated third album Here Is One I Know You Know is both a leap in production and an ode to the beloved synthesizers she has spent the last 20 years in dedication to. Self produced and recorded in her home studio in Brisbane, it is a dense collection of squelchy synths, drum machines and computer bongos with an undercurrent of sweet melodies sung about self critical and often tongue in cheek self deprecation.

It is an album whose excellence is so undeniable, we just couldn’t help but make it the feature album on 2SER.

It was an honour and pleasure for Danny from 2SER Breakfast to catch up with Seja to discuss the album, the fabulous friends that helped make it, her many projects outside of making music (including her Hearsej podcast and Pul(sew)idth, her collection of bespoke small felt instruments), and of course to gain permission from Seja to her music as the theme for any future weather and traffic reports.
