Former NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian has recently announced that lockdown will ease on October 11^th, 2021, for those in the community who have received double doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Berejiklian has also gone on to explain that venues across the state will reopen to those individuals who can prove they are fully vaccinated. To do so, vaccine passports have been introduced and can be downloaded on mobile devices as proof of entry into venues such as restaurants, pubs, and clubs. With all this said, many questions and concerns have been raised despite the excitement of the return to normality.
