Hill’s Pet Nutrition Recall

You may recall previously on The Daily we brought you a story claiming raw meat based dog food may present a risk to both you and your pet. Just a few days ago Hill’s Pet Nutrition officially issued a voluntary recall of its own canned dog food products. A public letter from Hill’s Pet Nutrition stated there is a high vitamin D in their pet food product’s, and pose serious danger to our furry best friends.

To discuss the recall of these products, The Daily’s Victor Petrovic is joined by Dr. Bronwyn Orr – Veterinarian and PhD scholar, University of Sydney.

For all pet owners out there, you can contact Hill’s on their website or email HillshelplineANZ@hillspet.com or ring 1800 679 932 to replace discarded products at no cost.

Here is the full recalled list of canned foods.
