History Lab is back with a whole new season of weird and wonderful true stories from history. Kicking off with an episode about the first bank that opened in Australia in 1817 with a deposit already in the bank (we love a good mystery!), the season is set to be a great one.

Producer Ninah Kopel says the show has been a collaborative process with historians, the storytelling process complementing the historical fact-checking process.
