Described as a modern classic of Australian theatre and one of the great love stories, Holding the Man returns to Belvoir Theatre.
Adapted by Tommy Murphy from Tim Conigrave’s memoir, it follows Tim’s 15-year relationship with the school footy captain John in the mid-1970s. A deeply moving play about the lives of a gay couple and their struggle for acceptance and equality.
