Holiday Road Toll Leads To Road Safety Crackdown

The NSW Government has introduced a strict set of road safety rules, in the wake of the state’s horrible holiday road toll. Premier Gladys Berejiklian has put in place lower speed limits and a tougher crackdown of drink driving offenders. It comes in response to the doubling of road-related deaths last year, compared to 2016’s.
To talk about this, The Daily was joined by Melinda Pavey who is the NSW Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight.
