Last week we chatted with Prof. Anthony Herries about the history of human evolution. Well, the universe likes a theme: that same day news broke that wild animals are evolving faster than you can make a cup of instant ramen. Well, that quickly… but faster than we once thought! This originates from the journal Science (a vegan cookie for anyone who guesses what that journal is about!), in which researchers studied a ton of wild birds and mammals to make the discovery. We were joined by lead researcher Dr. Timothee Bonnet from ANU to chat about the study, and please any listeners who may be wondering, “Where did all the cool animal stories on The Friday Daily go?”
