Home-brew Hoedown: The search for Sydney’s best craft beer

Perhaps life’s greatest luxury; good cold beer has always been at our fingertips. These days, beer-lovers are taking it to a new level; taking a DIY approach to their favourite drink with home-brewing and complex craft beers.


Sydney can’t get enough of the stuff, and now we’re thirsty for the one true king of beers. In celebration of Sydney Beer Week, Uncle Hops bar at Newtown’s Bank Hotel is holding a month long Home-brew Hoedown in search of a homemade brew with the best story and even better taste.
