Homelessness Problems
Homelessness is a real problem here as Sydney, as you can see with your own eyes walking around the city in the morning or late at night, you’re bound to see more than a few people sleeping rough. Melbourne has had similar problems but plans put forward by Melbourne Lord Mayor Robert Doyle have been criticised for attacking those affected by homelessness, rather than attacking the roots of the problem. James Petty, a Researcher in Criminology from the University of Melbourne spoke to Tess about this issue.
