Honey researcher praised for Famelab performance
Nic talked to astrophysicist Dr Alan Duffy about UTS Researcher Dr Nural Cokcetin’s success at the science communication competition, FameLab. Duffy described Cokcetin as “hysterically funny, incredibly memorable and … supremely authentic” adding that “she had a genuine connection with the audience”.
FameLab aims to support early-career researchers promote their work to the public, and Duffy hopes that Cokcetin’s win will encourage “the best and brightest to solve the world’s problems”, regardless of their background or gender.
