Horizon plays at the Sydney Opera House

There is a place between sea and sky – a sacred realm where the sun rises and falls and the light is new. Horizon is a brand new production that plays at the Sydney Opera House.

A Horizon is the place where the sea meets sky, it’s also a cross-cultural collaboration from two of the world’s greatest First Nations dance theatre, Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Deborah Brown and leading Māori choreographer and Arts Laureate, Moss Te Ururangi Patterson. Together they guide the award-winning ensemble in stories that honours the First Peoples of the Oceania region, spanning across Australia, the Torres Strait Islands and Aotearoa (New Zealand).

It plays at the Sydney Opera House from 12th June – 13th July. Bangarra Dance Theatre dancer, Jye Uren joined Danny Chifley on the Breakfast Show.
