But while your own house sharing experiences might feel either a little too prosaic or raw to reflect upon, the documentary series Housemates is a fascinating look at some of the odder share-housing experiences across Australia
Think Christian disciples living together, or vegans and meat-eaters collaborating on a zero-waste household and much more. Season 2 kicks off tonight at 9.20pm on ABC2 and iView. The show’s co-producer — and noted comedian — Scott Brennan spoke to Nic about the show’s strange appeal, as well as re-telling some Horror Housemate stories for the small screen.
