How a Teen’s Tragic Death Fueled The Pill Testing Debate
How drug experimentation has yet again resulted in the death of another young Australian teen.
With the number of suspected overdoses at music festivals skyrocketing, the deaths have prompted renewed calls for pill testing but the government isn’t convinced.
An estimated crowd of 11,387 people in attendance, Police reported having found 54 people in possession of illegal substances, with Ms. Ross-King the fifth person to die from a suspected drug overdose in the past 4 months. It was this tragedy that has further fuelled the debate on pill testing with people urging for government response.
