How arctic ice might tell us about the climate crisis

As World leaders and representatives hatch initiatives in Glasgow for COP26, Australia’s presence (or lack there of) and policy (or lack there of.. again) has been highly scrutinised.

However, on Tuesday the 9th Australia will take centre stage thanks to Polar Zero, an immersive science-engineering-art exhibition powered by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Arup. At it’s centre is an  an ampule of genuine Antarctic air from the year 1765. The proportion of CO2 in the sample gives a point of reference to judge current levels.

Chris Mercer, Arup’s NSW Arts and Culture lead spoke on 2Ser Breakfast to give all the details.
