Today it seems like many of us could not live without our mobile phones. We rely on them for many day to day things, for entertainment, for connecting with our loved ones, for information. However mobile phones can also rapidly help the spread of viral pathogens, bacteria, and viruses just through touch.

The Daily was joined by Lotti Tajouri, an Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences at Bond University to talk about the biosecurity risks of mobile phones and why we should be paying more attention to the rate of which they help spread germs.
