How The Story Factory is Inspiring Young Voices with #HarmonyWeek

With Harmony Week well on its way, it’s time to celebrate the multiculturalism and diverse voices that make Australia great. And what better place to start than in the classroom?

One organisation leading the way is The Story Factory, a not-for-profit creative writing centre that runs programs for children in under-resourced areas across Sydney. With their belief that “stories change lives”, they aim to empower children to express themselves through creative writing. This year, they’re running a digital poetry event for #Harmony Week, giving young voices a chance to share their thoughts on what an inclusive and united world looks like.

2SER is joined by Vanessa Andres, The Story Factory’s national digital manager, to chat about their upcoming #HarmonyWeek digital event on the 21st of March, 2025.
