How we avoid feeling guilty about purchasing slave-made products

We like to think of slavery as something that happened a long time ago, but in the age of sweatshop labour and weak unions it is, unfortunately, still very much prevalent. More likely than not – we – as consumers – buy slave-made products everyday, blissfully unaware of the conditions under which they were produced.
To help us feel guilty about our purchasing habits this morning, The Daily’s Julia Carr-Catzel spoke with Dr.Tracey Dodd, Lecturer and Research Fellow in Commerce at The University of Adelaide.
