Humanitarian Crisis unfolds in Ukraine
Estimates over 500,000 Ukrainian refugees have flooded across borders – many to Poland and Moldova – but the situation for those who cannot get out becomes direr as each day dawns.
As a 60 km long column of Russian armour advances on Kyiv today, the effectiveness of Ukrainian defences will be sorely tested. Molotov cocktails will not be enough.
