Ignoring Young Peoples Climate Change Fears Is A Recipe For Disaster
Thousands of Australian school students and workers have significantly participated in the global protest against climate change, hoping for better changes for the future. However, there is a creation of unnecessary confusion, fear and anxiety, especially in school-age students, that stems from denial, scepticism and misconceptions about climate change.
Today we were joined by Rachael Sharman, Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast, to discuss about the negative effects that these misconceptions are having on young Australians.
