“I’m on fire” M’ap Boulé sets the stage ablaze

M’ap Boulé is a powerful new show by UTP, written and performed by Nancy Denis. It’s backdrop is set during the time black-Haitian slaves revolted against British and French colonisers, setting Haiti ablaze. It also tells the story of a child of immigrant parents growing up in Australia in search of herself. It’s Nancy’s story of history interwoven with a personal narrative. A story of spirit, belonging and discovery. Writer and performer Nancy Denis joined Danny Chifley.
