Despite the challenges refugees face, they are still able to own and operate successful small businesses. Immigration has been a bit of a hot topic recently. With the current housing crisis and an election coming up it’s probably going to be a target for controversial opinions, but it is a matter of fact that small immigrant businesses are an important cornerstone in the Australian economy. The Daily’s Nelson was joined by Jock Collins, Professor of Social Economics in the Management Discipline Group at the UTS Business School in Sydney, to discuss these issues.
