The impact of the NBN for Sydney
It is now nearly 10 years since the Labor opposition led by Kevin Rudd was elected to office on a platform which included a proposal for a National Broadband Network.
Since that time, the original policy has been altered due primarily to a change of government and the roll-out of the new infrastructure continues today.
The Daily spoke to Dr. Tooran Alizadeh, Director of Urban Design and Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney to discuss how the roll-out of the NBN is impacting Sydney and how such infrastructure benefits our city.
