Impact Of COVID School Closures

Our school kids have gone through a lot of adjustments this year. As a measure to stop the spread of COVID-19, many schools in Australia faced periods of state mandated closures, with most schools still closed in Victoria. Public debate is still discussing the potential long-term costs of these school closures.

We spoke with Alberto Posso, who suggests our approach to helping these kids, lies in the past experiences of different countries that closed schools due to previous pandemics, war or industrial action.
