In conversation with, Salote Tawale: “I remember you”

Salote Tawale, is a Fijian-Australian artist and academic based in Sydney/Eora, who recently unveiled her first major solo exhbition, “I remember you”. The exhibition features an expansive series of interactive installations, paintings and sculptures, exploring how memories shape our identity.

To accompany the exhibition, there are public programs for families and children to take part in:

  • Myself, my memory: families workshop (9th December 10am-12pm)
  • Live cooking demo with Salote Tawale, Pasepa Morrell and Claire Van Vuuren (9th December  10:30-11am)
  • In conversation: Salote Tawale and Veronica Tello (9th December 12-1pm)
  • Talanoa and sahred meal with Salote tawale and Jioji Ravulo

“I remember you” is open now until 28th of January, 2024 and is free to visit at Carriageworks.
