With the women’s world cup underway fully and feeling like somewhat of a success, it might be easy to think that finally women’s football is getting the respect and exposure it deserves. But with this exposure, many of issues that face the women’s game come to light. Internal corruption, pay disputes and many other issues challenge the progression of the sport.
