India’s Healthcare System in Crisis

 India surpasses 200,000 COVID-19 deaths with more than 3,000 fatalities reported in 24 hours for the first time, official data showed. This month alone the country has added almost 6 million new cases, including an increase of over 400,000 in one day. Now the coronavirus crisis is spiraling out of control in India and they are suffering with the shortage of oxygen supplies. Many nations including Australia have rushed to help by sending desperately needed oxygen and aid. Professor Paul Griffin from the University of Queensland joined us earlier to discuss more about the current situation in India and the importance of oxygen supplies.
