Indigenous Literacy boost needed to close the gap

Approximately forty percent of Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders adults have low literacy and numeracy skills according to a parliamentary inquiry released on Monday.
Low literacy affects participation in work, education, and society and is one of the key contributors in hindering efforts to close the gap.
