The iconic Aussie soapie Neighbours is back on set with safety precautions in place following a shutdown caused by COVID-19 but it’s only one of the handful of fiction programs around the world to resume production. The future of the industry is at stake as the typical scenario on a production set involves over 100 personnel. New safety measures can leave a lot of professionals unemployed.
