INSPIRED study to evaluate dementia care models

The statistics for dementia are sobering: nearly 50% of residents in government-subsided aged care facilities have dementia, a number which is projected to increase over the coming years.
Dementia residents place a strain on the health system because of the level of care they require, and a new study hopes to look at what the most efficient model of care is. Most interestingly, this study will be asking residents themselves about their preferred model.
